Stacy Thomas: If God does not exist…then how do u explain how complex bodies, eyes, and brains are? Even Darwin believed in a creator on his death bed. He was just too stubborn to believe beforehand, what a waist. We had to be created—that’s where God came in–believe it or not.
Alex: It happened because of simple mathematics, the universe of infinite size, and because this reality happened to exist due to the fact that there is no absolute probability. By some fluke accident the right combination of events occurred in the universe and created life (Us). We are not the first life forms to exist in this universe, nor will we be the last. For something that has existed for over 13billion years it has taken a long time for these events to occur. Mankind has existed hundreds of times less than one percent of the existence of everything.
Stacy Thomas: Simple Math, lol. So, you are proving Darwins theory, which becomes inexplicable as evidence, since he was proved to believe that there MUST be a CREATOR. He could justify a ton, but he couldnt explain how detailed the human eye and body were. They could never be caused out of accident. It’s like saying that if i laid parts to a laptop on a table and came back trillions of years later that there would actually be something made. Nope. There has to be some kind of blueprint or design, knowledge, and purpose.
Alex: Where did I mention Darwin? Darwin is but one of many philosophers who wrote and studied evolution. When you get down to things and you talk about there has to be a “creator” or “God” than you are Placing this omnipotent being into existence in which there must have been a Creator for God as well. to say that god has always existed can not be any more plausible than the universe has simply existed for all time. As for your theory about computer parts. well thats just stupid. if you think about it the parts have indeed been there on this table called the universe for all eternity and then one day a species came along with many tries and advancements learned with NO BLUEPRINT how to assemble what is now a laptop. or wait did the almighty god deliver the blueprints on a scroll to mankind when he felt we were ready?
Stacy Thomas: Nope, I believe that God has always existed. The bible says that, “IN the beginning there was God.” The end. Period. I believe it, I’ll just ask God when I get to heaven, or maybe I wont care by then, I’ll just be excited to be with my loving father and savior. God is outside of time. He created time, light dark, earth, the universe. I know hard to comprehend, but true. God gave mankind inspiration to create, as He did. I have no doubt that he gives us ideas, again we choose to use them or think that they are bogus. It all has to deal with faith. I know u doubt, but with all of my being, I KNOW that this is all true. God has confirmed and saved me from things that even I thought were too big for Him to handle, but He is larger than we can guess. The point is that HE IS.
Alex: how do you KNOW this is all true, are you a prophet has God proven existence to you in some way that has not been shown to others. that you are too selfish to share with everyone else. or are you basing your judgement on religious beliefs that have existed a mere 1% of the existence of mankind. My physics book says in the beginning there was a large bang. Now I know you have your book and I have mine but quite frankly yours lacks evidence and logic.
Stacy Thomas: U know what Im not a prophet, but my heart is not hardened by this world. I opened it to God and now everything is more finely tuned to His plan. If u feel so confident in ur big bang, then tell me. If there was a creator and He had designed u to think in complex ways, since the bible says we are created in God’s image, THEN couldn’t u use ur brain to scientifically justify everything that u see. Now what about the parts that u cant see? What u feel? You feel when something could be dangerous, why? You love your kids as soon as they breathe there first breath, why? God made us like him. With extra senses and emotions. U can not qualify those from some big bang, we’d be just like animals if that were so. There had to be a specific design and plan. Believe the truth or live a life in search of it. Only God and His truth fills the void u are searching for, no man or woman can fulfill that. Goodnight.
Alex: the big bang created because a mass could no longer sustain the pull of gravity in itself and destructed, this destruction sent all the elements of life and the universe out into existence. Gravity then began to pull together various elements and began taking on the form of mass once again. now since this was not a uniform explosion elements began to join due to random chance that they are compatible with each other. some did not work and did not carry on to what exists today. These particles now pull together with other particles forming new structures, these now more complex than the original structures in which they are made. now this continues to build until we reach ourselves. Other organisms are made up of different structures. these complex and very mathematical equations allow us to form a consciousness and thought for our survival. Our emotions are driven by our instinct to survive. Love is made for us to find a partner and reproduce also to protect your partner so that you can continue to reproduce. fear is so we know to stay away from that which may harm us. Now we only learn by experience this is why different people love and fear different things. And yes we are just like animals we have just learned to advance further in technology than those around us given our structural advantages. I have no void, I am searching for nothing but to understand why people can be so close minded and believe stories that have no evidence or proof.
Stacy Thomas: Stop lying to yourself. Everyone is searching. It’s the way we were manufactured. U argue for a side that has nothing. If you’re right then we all just die or we all go to heaven. If Im right, inbetween u and me, only you chose hell.
Alex: I’m sorry, but the way I see things, believing in an invisible man in the sky instead of what has been proven seems more like lying to ones self. I don’t need to comfort death with the thought of a pretty heaven where we get to spend eternity. Quite frankly if its full of people as close minded as most religious people I don’t want to be there anyways. There far too many different religions with so many different beliefs and guidelines that make way more sense than Christianity. Most, might I add, have been around thousands of years longer. Christianity has been around for about 1% of mankind existence. There is no proof of these stories in the bible. I have read it, I went to church every week of my life till I was 18. Was even a counselor for Christian youth groups. But I couldn’t continue to blindly follow what I was not allowed to question. It’s not right and doesn’t make sense of what it is trying to preach. these stories are old and found on manuscripts no evidence of weather or not these events actually occurred. I’m sorry, but the only person I see lying to themselves here is you.
Stacy Thomas: You should never have been allowed to be a counselor if the LOVE of Christ wasnt in your heart–first of all. 2nd, Maybe you questioned, but never actually researched your own faith to find answers. There are answers to all of the questions. It truly only takes faith, the size of a mustard seed, to understand and believe. Christianity is the only “religion,” or so u call it, I call it the only truth, that is based solely on u surrendering your life to someone who offered–freely–to save it. That’s it. U dont have to earn love, you dont have to be ‘good’. God loves u no matter what u believe or do. No religion believes that. Takes a ton of faith to try to comprehend why he would love us when we are so sinful, but even the smartest Christians cant understand the concept. Grace and mercy were shown to believers solely for their belief and it was counted to them as righteousness. So, apparently it is hard to just surrender.
Alex: Wow, you continue to spout the same bullshit with no evidence. I did look for answers in religion and all that happens is when you dig to deep you are answered with “Because that was gods will” Have you ever researched any religions? do you have any clue what you are up against or are you simply and blindly following what you were raised to believe because you know no better and are scared to find out you have been wrong all this time. You preach that your God is all loving of this “truth” you believe in yet your neighbors, your siblings of truth claim things like “God hates Homo’s” Your own people cant even all agree on the same things. All religions believe in a Loving god.
Stacy Thomas: (No, not ALL religions believe in a loving God. ehh. Have u ever read about this stuff?? Try Hindu for starters.) I dont have to prove any ideals of mine, to u. Think about it, logically. If I proved every answer with the bible–which to me is the truth, or with archeological facts aligning to biblical statements or confirmed locations with proven facts, or if they had commonality–u would still refute it. I already gave proof. Watch the history channel man. They have biblical, archeological finds that confirm my beliefs. I was watching it, on DVR, today and was thinking about how much you need to see it. You’re such a doubting Thomas, it’s almost like youd have to see the holes in Christs hands to even glimpse some belief. You believe in something everyday (that if u pay ur gas bill, then your stove will work. That if u use the crosswalk, then no one will hit u, that if u go skydiving then the shoot will open, take a flight and the plane wont crash, that when someone says I love u they mean it.) –why not Jesus? Why is it so hard to believe that we have used reason as an excuse for unbelief. When there is an unproved scientific theory, the motive is to prove it. So, why doesnt it make sense that if the bible says that there are more stars in the sky than sand on the shore then you couldnt explain it that way in scientific terms too. There are infinite amounts of stars throughout our galaxy. Duh, the bible said so, believe it. IM DONE. DONT BELIEVE BUT KNOW THAT ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS SURRENDER TO SOMEONE WHO GAVE YOU A FREE GIFT. ITS A SIGN OF YOUR GRATITUDE.
Alex: You gave no proof, not a single statement you have made had any proof whatsoever. Your only “proof” is you saying that is what you believe because it is true. I’m sorry but that is not proof. If you Proved anything to me I would not argue any of it because you would have logical evidence to back your claim. Your only proof is a book that cant back its own stories, and these religious “finds” don’t prove anything they prove that religious people such as yourself did something extreme and left some traces of it behind. we found tombs and pyramids from the Egyptians with scriptures and stories written all over the walls and yet we don’t go around claiming that everything they said is correct because we found some artifacts stating people did certain things due to what they believed and couldn’t prove. Science is backed by logic and fact. religion is proved by stories and myths that can not be proven to be true.
